When we took on the Y61, we knew we couldn't compromise the sheer workhorse character of the platform. We didn't set out to turn it into a luxury boutique RV. The goal was simple: turn Australia’s most trusted long-haul wagon into a self-contained, live-in basecamp that sets up in seconds.

Outside, the conversion follows the GU’s heavy-set roofline and distinct window arches. At roughly 100mm closed, it keeps your centre of gravity tucked down low, clear of low-hanging scrub and tight bush tracks. Inside, pop the gas struts and the wagon opens up entirely — giving you genuine stand-up headroom to get dressed out of the weather, escape the flies, or stretch out on an integrated, full-length bed without needing to drag swags out into the mud.

It’s tough, simple, and built to match the vehicle underneath it. The same Patrol you rely on to get you out there, just far more comfortable when you finally pull up to camp.
