The Complete Package
A Headspace Camper provides just that. It’s almost like we’ve drawn up a pros and cons list of camper vans and roof top tents, then incorporated all the pros in our designs and addressed all the cons. Thanks to the functionality of the flip-up bed, you can now set up your overland vehicle with a kitchen and liveable space downstairs to maximise the potential of your Headspace Camper - your new peripatetic paradise. The roof tilts to 42 degrees, allowing you to sleep both ways and providing over 1850mm of head height just inside the tent! Its aerodynamic design keeps the ride height low for garage and underground parking. Our Defender roof conversion is also transferable, so if you wish to restore your vehicle to its original state or even upgrade to a newer Defender, the option to do so is there. With a customisable mattress that fits (at least) two people comfortably, you can look forward to a dry, soft bed after a long day of adventuring. So, what are you waiting for? Say adios to those restless nights spent sleeping on uneven ground in humid conditions!
Effortless Set Up and Pack Down
When we say effortless, we mean effortless. Setting up is as easy as releasing the two stainless steel catches and allowing the gas struts to work their magic. Pop up the roof and get ready to camp in seconds! Forget the pegs, poles, tarpaulin and everything in between because a Headspace Camper has it all. Gone are the days when you have to climb up and down ladders and pack your belongings into every nook and cranny. Our roof conversions support full use of all roof racks to store heavier items and eliminate the need to unload such items before popping up the roof. Those who need to pack heavier items have the option of unzipping the canvas and adding a second set of lifting struts. When it comes to packing down, there’s nothing more efficient on the market. Our roof conversions can be closed with all your bedding inside, so you’ll never struggle to find a clean storage space for those items again. Just check that everything up top is stored away from the edges of your mattress to allow room for the canvas, and Bob’s your uncle.
Seamless and Durable Design
Offshore manufacturing and product development is the new norm, but we’re on a mission to change this narrative. Headspace Campers prides itself on delivering products that are designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia. By doing so, not only can we quality control, but also continuously improve and guarantee the durability of our products. Our roof conversions’ folded aluminium construction creates an aerodynamic camper that is extremely lightweight and low profile. All external fixtures and hinges are made from anti-corrosive materials and will endure anything and everything your adventures throw at it. In fact, we’re so confident in the durability of our designs that we offer a four-year structural warranty and a two-year moving parts warranty on our roof conversions. Our promise to you is that all products have been tried and tested to withstand rain, hail or shine, just not cyclonic conditions. Despite there being 6.5 tonnes of downward tension force, if there’s a cyclone, forget it.
